Although my surroundings were seemingly uninspiring during my time in quarantine, I realized a common experience that many individuals were facing; loneliness. This project began with images I had taken illustrating the idea of looking from behind the curtain to see what the future holds. The images inspired the creation of the film, ‘It just sucks,’ telling the stories and varying perspectives of people experiencing COVID-19 around the world.
